If you think that Italian food is just about Pizza and Pasta, you may be missing something!
This is what we discovered at the Italian night we were invited to by Safir Hotel & Residences Kuwait - Al Fintas, and this Italian night takes place every Wednesday in Flavors Restaurant in the Hotel.
First of all, we were impressed with the ambiance starting from the enjoyable live music, lighting, décor, the buffet display and the tables with Italian flag colors as well.
As for the buffet, there were many Italian choices of appetizers, salads, sauces, cheese and main dishes like Risotto, Pesto Penne, Stuffed Meat Rolls, Grilled Seafood with olives and tomato sauce, Ravioli with mushroom and more.
There was also a live cooking station where you can order your pizza and there are four choices of pizza which are Margarita, Pepperoni, Al Funghi and Pizza Ala Safir. When its ready, they get it to your table on a wooden board.
In the buffet, there was also a kids corner that consists of options that kids like and they include cheese pasta, potatoes, donuts and more.
As for the desserts, they were displayed in the center of the restaurant and each type of dessert is just like a piece of art on its own which reflects great skills and professionalism in preparing them.
The desserts included Cannellonni Siciliana, Tiramisu Della Casa, Pumpkin Pudding, small pieces of cake and more in addition to a fruits section containing a variety of fruits like banana and pineapple and fruit salad as well.
Other than all that, we just can’t miss out the fact that the service and food were of very high quality whereby you feel that even the little details are just perfect and the taste of the food is so mouthwatering and tasty.
