Washing your blender with a sponge is kind of dangerous whereby you may reach your sponge down and accidentally cut yourself on one of the blades and start bleeding everywhere.
So to avoid any harm, there is a safer way to wash your blender.
First, put soap and water in the blender then whirl and after that rinse with water as shown in the photo below.
