Marzook, the renowned future-proof brand crafted by the Kuwaiti siblings Fahad and Shouq Al Marzook has launched, in collaboration with the American celebrity Sofia Richie, its best-seller bag… the Lucid Classic, available in three cyber-punk neon shades.
Assisted by Luxuria Concierge Services & Luxury Travel, Sofia Richie and her team travelled in luxury from the moment she left her home in LA until she landed in Kuwait. They were then escorted to the Four Seasons where absolutely no efforts were spared in ensuring her stay in Kuwait was a memorable one.
In Sofia’s honor, Fahed and Shouq threw a very private and exclusive dinner at their home where Four Seasons showcased their culinary craftsmanship through their newly launched catering service.
During the press conference held at Zinc (Zain Innovation Center), created for the purpose of unlocking opportunities for Kuwait’s young entrepreneurs, Sofia and the Marzook duo made a special appearance amidst the Kuwaiti media and revealed the Marzook X Sofia Richie glowing Neon Capsule.
Inspired by Sofia’s trendsetting style, edgy look and outgoing personality, the seasonless Lucid Classic collection comes in Fluorescent Yellow, Powerful Red and Traffic Cone Orange with brass hardware and a drop-in shoulder chain. The glassy effect aims at resonating the identity war between our multiple selves, torn between the transparent physical world and the virtual cosmos booming with color.
Through this collaboration, Marzook’s latest bags line attempts to tap into the Generation-Z fashion lovers’ world, incorporating their vitality and ambition into the futuristic “Neon” designs.
On the same day as the press conference, a one day pop-up event took place at Al Hamra Luxury Center, giving their customers the unique opportunity of being amongst the first to own one of the Lucid bags as well as to take memorable pictures with Sofia Richie.
Sofia Richie was dressed in the unique designs of HAMSA fashion. A Kuwaiti brand without equal by Sharifa AlGhanim that combines the Arab culture with the modern lines of elegance, HAMSA delivers a fusion to parallel Sofia’s taste for the exotic and unique.
The Sofia X Marzook event couldn’t have been made possible without the support of the local community and companies who believe in the importance of supporting local talents. Hanan Dashti commented “It is my pleasure and honor to be taking part in Fahad and Shouq’s career journey as they go from one success to the next. As a successful Kuwaiti brand, I know exactly how long the journey is and how only through collaboration and support can one proceed further”.
Commenting on their contribution to the event, Ziad Al Fares emphasized the importance of being part of the local community. “Al Fares Jewelry has been accompanying Kuwaiti families through all their joyful moments and having Fahad and Shouq today collaborating with international celebrities as well as selling their designs in New York’s most exclusive Goodman Bergdorf, it is indeed such a happy moment to be celebrated so we decided to render it more timeless with our jewelry.”
Sofia expressed her excitement over the collaboration with Shouq and Fahad as she sees the Lucid Capsule Collection as an exotic marriage between Eastern and Western cultures.
With this collection, Fahad and Shouq have cemented the brand as the go-to statement look among celebrities and in-the-know trend setters.

Marzook’s handmade crystalline pieces of posh art are crafted from precious metals, Plexiglass resins, and Swarovski encrusted detailing. Their spherical bag has been spotted on red carpets and in street style snaps, toted by everyone from Amal Clooney, Kylie Jenner, Olivia Culpo, Rita Ora, Lupita Nyongo, Ciara, Karolina Kurkova, Desi Perkins, to the stars of Egyptian cinema including Selma Abudeif and Yosra.
Marzook’s journey into design and styling was initially driven by Fahad and Shouq’s passion for creating this mélange of art and design. Their maiden collection was accidental, initially targeting family and a close circle of friends only. After years of artistic metamorphosis, the brand has added new goals on its to-do-list to match its ever-growing success: pushing boundaries, challenging fashion norms, and resonating the voice of individuality. Marzook is a matured vision of Fahad and Shouq’s identity that has long surpassed the purpose of merely creating a family "code". Now, it rather engrains this sense of adventurous millennialism encapsulated in luscious designs that scream with female empowerment. The accessories brand Marzook signifies the unity of the duo’s creative minds whose work has long occupied the shelves of the world’s most elite luxury retailers.
