TSC Hosted Creative Children International School (CCIS) Students in Real-life Shopping Experience

As part of its educational and social responsibility program, The Sultan Center recently sponsored a real-life shopping experience for the students of Creative Children international School.

The activity enabled students to gain a first-hand experience of grocery shopping while understanding the different roles within a supermarket. Students took turns playing the role of a customer, cashier and customer service staff. During the activity students enjoyed acting out these roles, while also learning about the buying, displaying and selling of products and engaging with fellow students-customers.

Commenting on TSC initiative, Lisa Al Gharib – Marketing Manager at TSC said:” It was an extremely beneficial experience for the students who had the chance to gain real –life skills of supermarket shopping and to teach students about the value and use of money while shopping”.

The Sultan Center actively engages and supports educational activities across the community in which it operates.
