Driven by its commitment in raising awareness about nutrition and healthy eating habits The Sultan Center has partnered with Kuwait Ministry of Health and hosted their Smart Shopping competition for students of Fahaheel governorate at TSC Fahaheel store.
During the event, MOH’s doctors gave lectures and lessons to students about the importance of selecting items while shopping that are healthy and nutritious and are part of a an overall balanced diet.
Following the lecture students were then asked to compete their way to shop for their ultimate healthy breakfast meal by selecting products across the store that could be used to make a healthy breakfast; winners were selected according to their scores on the best products chosen across the store fitting their given budget.
During the event, TSC staff members showed extreme support in guiding the students around the store in order for them to make their selection. TSC staff members distributed healthy choices of giveaways and vouchers to the students by the end of their day.
Praising MOH initiative, Lisa Al Gharib/ Marketing Manager at TSC said; “we are extremely glad to join hands with The Ministry of Heath which has always showed tremendous support to TSC’s Health initiatives and promoting a healthy lifestyle”. TSC staff enjoyed working together with MOH in helping to spread awareness on the importance and benefits of eating a well-balanced diet and lifelong impact on one’s health.
