Entrecote is a French restaurant that currently has five branches in Kuwait and what is special about this restaurant is that it serves only one dish which is steak with a secret sauce.
So if you visit Entrecote, you won’t get confused at all because all what you have is only one choice.
First of all, the price is fixed and it is KD 9.500 per person.
This price includes the steak, French fries and salad but without drinks and desserts.
Our experience in Entrecote was specifically in The Avenues branch that is located beside the Grand Avenue overlooking Cheesecake Factory restaurant.
The restaurant is divided into two sections, inner and outer section, but since the branch is in a vibrant mall, we realized that people prefer sitting in the outer section that overlooks the mall and the crowd.
The tables and chairs in Entrecote restaurant are wooden and inspired from old heritage.
The colors of the table covers differ from a table to the other and on top of the colored table cover, there is white paper cover.
On the Paper cover, the waitress writes your order and how you want your steak to be cooked.
After ordering, they served us French baguette bread with butter as a welcome appetizer.
And before the main dish, they got the salad that is made up of lettuce, sauce and nuts.
In this salad, the lettuce leaves are not chopped.
The salad is light and fresh but it would be easier to eat if the leaves were chopped.
As for the steak, they serve 4 pieces at first with French fries and when you are done, they get you 3 other pieces with the sauce.
It you want extra fries with the second portion of steak, you can ask for that and they will serve you the same quantity as the first portion without any additional cost.
In short, you can get two portions of steak and fries.
Since the steak is the only dish served in Entrecote, it takes your whole attention whereby you expect to taste something magical.
In our personal opinion, we liked the steak a lot and it was cooked just the way we wanted it to be and the sauce was perfect.
The French fries were crispy and yummy and along with the steak, they form an amazing combination.
If you want to eat desserts after lunch, you can order from their special desserts menu but note that they have a separate cost just like the drinks.
